Abstract

The present article investigates English and Uzbek proverbs, which semantics describes knowledge, advantages of knowledge in human life, types of knowledge and attitude of human to knowledge. Theoretical content of the article is proved by numerous examples of English and Uzbek proverbs about knowledge.
